Most frequent questions and answers

Located in the province of Holguín, on the beautiful coastline that Christopher Columbus discovered when he arrived in Cuba in 1492 and that made him exclaim: “… it is the most beautiful land that human eyes saw.” The varied flora of the place retains its splendor. The beaches of the region are a dream for lovers of sea sports, outdoor recreation and diving. It has a 5-star hotel chain and excellent land connection routes. Frank País International Airport is located 1 hour from Guardalavaca Beach.

It has an extension of 18 km (11 miles), with an underwater relief that in some places is irregular and complex, forming mogotes of great height, caverns, small valleys and sea stacks of vertical wall; in others, the platform descends gently and forms large terraces covered entirely with gorgonians, sea fans and corals, and in the shallowest area is the coral reef. All dive sites are protected by fishing regulations, which has favored the existence of large fish such as snappers, chernas, ariguas, aguajíes and guasas, among other species. It is common to observe them approaching divers during dives.
